The Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, has congratulated the immediate past Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, Engr. Olumayowa Ayodeji Idowu, FNSE, on the successful completion of his two-year tenure.
Adigun, in his congratulatory message, told the outgoing Chairman, “You have done well,” commending him for what he described as impactful, visionary and purposeful leadership.
He noted that Idowu’s administration strengthened the visibility, professionalism, institutional relationships and overall development of the NSE Abeokuta Branch.
The NUJ Secretary particularly praised the outgoing Chairman for his commitment to service, teamwork and the advancement of engineering and society, noting that his achievements had provided a solid foundation for the new administration.
Adigun also congratulated the new Chairman of the NSE Abeokuta Branch, Engr. Dr. Adekunle Musa, FNSE, and urged him to build on the legacies of his predecessor while introducing fresh initiatives that would further position the Branch for greater accomplishments.
He wished Engr. Idowu continued success in his service to the Nigerian Society of Engineers, particularly in his current role as Chairman of the NSE Branch Chairmen Forum, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would continue to benefit the engineering profession and society at large.
