As a reward for winning the bronze at the 3rd SWAN/Olowalogbon Media Cup, each player of OGTV team has been gifted a cash award with the Coach, Seyi Alao not left out
While announcing the cash gift, the General Manager, OGTV, Mr Tunde Kassim commended the team’s spirit and for making OGTV proud.
He hinted that a better reward awaits the team if they could win the coveted trophy in the next edition.
The GM also praised those who worked behind the scene to achieve the bronze medal feat.
The TK boys defeated Consolidated Chapel by four goals to nil on the way to winning the bronze.
The OGTV team which did not qualify from the group stage during last year’s edition lost to Splash FM in the semi final through penalties by two goals to one
The SWAN Media Cup was conceived by the immediate past administration of Hakeem Akintunde to foster cordial relationship among sports journalists in Ogun State.
Now in its 3rd season, the competition has attracted sponsors from the organized private sector.
