The Deputy Director-General of the Ogun State APC Campaign Council, Ogun East, Dr Babatunde Ipaye, has said the party will take its campaign to every part of the state, promising to engage the people directly and communicate its plans ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ipaye stated this while speaking on the campaign council’s task, saying the APC would not take the people for granted despite being the ruling party. He said the campaign team would go to the people, listen to their needs and explain what the party has in stock for them, including Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola’s plan to build on the legacies of the present administration.

He said the campaign would cover the “nooks and crannies” of Ogun State, with the party prepared to communicate its message to residents in their local languages. Ipaye said the objective was to understand the concerns of the people and work towards addressing them.

The APC chieftain also linked the 2027 campaign to what he described as President Bola Tinubu’s message that Nigeria had been rescued from the brink and was entering a period of prosperity. According to him, the sacrifices and economic difficulties experienced by Nigerians should translate into improved prosperity for the people.

Ipaye said the campaign council would therefore work hard to mobilise residents across Ogun State and communicate the party’s message of prosperity and its plans for the state. He stressed that the APC would leave no stone unturned in reaching the electorate ahead of the 2027 elections.
