The Chairman of the Ogun State APC Campaign Council’s Public Communication Committee, Otunba Dare Odufowokan, has described his assignment as a responsibility to effectively communicate the achievements and programmes of the Dapo Abiodun administration ahead of the 2027 elections.
Odufowokan spoke following the inauguration of the party’s 2027 Campaign Council, which is chaired by Governor Dapo Abiodun, with the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as Co-Chairman.
He said the committee would build on its previous experience in communicating the policies and achievements of the APC-led administration, describing Adeola as a candidate whose record would make the communication assignment straightforward.
“You should not expect anything less than what we have done in the past in terms of propagating the good works of the Dapo Abiodun administration,” Odufowokan said.
According to him, the campaign council has been structured with experienced party members and professionals across various committees, which he said would help ensure effective coordination and delivery of the party’s campaign message.
Odufowokan said the APC administration had recorded achievements in areas including revenue generation and improvement in living conditions, adding that these would form part of the issues to be communicated to the electorate during the campaign.
He said the Public Communication Committee would focus on taking the party’s message to the people of Ogun State while responding to issues that arise during the electioneering period.
The APC recently unveiled a 156-member campaign council with committees covering public communication, media and publicity, mobilisation, youth and student engagement, among others.
