The Ogun State Progressive Governance Forum says it will launch a political call centre in Abeokuta on Monday, November 2, 2026, as part of efforts to intensify grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The initiative, convened by Adeolu Adebari, is designed to facilitate direct communication with registered voters across the six local government areas of Ogun Central Senatorial District through telephone canvassing, voter sensitisation and digital communication platforms.

According to the forum, the centre will focus on encouraging registered voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), promoting the achievements of the All Progressives Congress-led administration in Ogun State and communicating the ITESIWAJU development agenda of Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.

The forum said trained contact agents would engage voters, respond to enquiries, share political information and monitor voter feedback as part of its strategy to strengthen support for the APC at the grassroots.

It added that the initiative would support the party’s mobilisation efforts for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Assembly candidates and Senator Adeola, whom the party has positioned as its governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election.

Speaking on the initiative, Adebari described the call centre as a strategic platform for taking political engagement closer to the people, stressing that technology and grassroots participation would play important roles in the forthcoming electoral contests.

He said the forum intended to use the facility to promote the APC’s programmes, communicate its development agenda and encourage greater participation in the electoral process.

The forum also said its engagement strategy would highlight issues such as grassroots development, support for small businesses, artisan empowerment, economic growth and infrastructural expansion, which it identified as key components of the ITESIWAJU blueprint.

The planned launch comes as political parties and support groups intensify preparations for the 2027 elections, with the forum expressing confidence that its technology-driven approach would strengthen the APC’s presence across Ogun Central.

The Ogun State Progressive Governance Forum describes itself as a political platform committed to civic education, grassroots development and good governance, with a focus on promoting the policies and vision of the All Progressives Congress.
