The Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, has congratulated Dr. Moyinoluwa Precious Ajayi on the successful award of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mass Communication by Babcock University, describing the feat as a remarkable testament to hard work, resilience and academic excellence.

Dr. Ajayi was formally hooded during the university’s 15th Doctoral Hooding and Convocation Ceremony held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Babcock University Amphitheatre.
Her doctoral research, titled “Federal Road Safety Corps’ Festive Period Radio Campaign and Commercial Motorists’ Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Road Safety in South-West Nigeria,” examined the impact of radio campaigns on road safety awareness and behavioural change among commercial motorists.
Adigun noted that Dr. Ajayi’s achievement would inspire young media professionals, journalists and communication scholars to pursue higher education and research capable of addressing societal challenges.
He commended her commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of Mass Communication, particularly in the area of broadcasting and public communication.
The NUJ Secretary wished Dr. Ajayi greater accomplishments in her academic and professional career, expressing confidence that her expertise would continue to contribute significantly to journalism, public relations, media education and national development.
