As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, respected political figure and grassroots mobilizer, Comrade Rotimi Rahmon, Ph.D., FICA, popularly known as Arugbo, has called on members of the Arugbo Dynasty and loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united and focused on the collective goal of electoral success.
The call was made during a stakeholders’ meeting hosted by Arugbo at his country home in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State. The gathering attracted political associates, community leaders, and loyal supporters drawn from the 16 wards of the local government, providing a platform for strategic discussions on party cohesion and preparations for the next electoral cycle.
Addressing the stakeholders, Arugbo stressed that unity, discipline, and loyalty remain the pillars upon which any successful political movement is built. He urged members to put aside personal interests and differences, emphasizing that a common purpose and coordinated grassroots engagement would be critical to strengthening the APC’s structure across the local government and beyond.
The political leader expressed confidence in the capacity of the party to record significant victories in the 2027 elections, particularly in the contests for the House of Representatives, Senate, and Ogun State governorship seats. According to him, a united and committed membership base would provide the momentum needed to secure electoral success and consolidate the party’s influence across the state.
Arugbo also commended members of the Dynasty for their unwavering loyalty, resilience, and continued support over the years. He reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and political advancement of members, urging them to remain steadfast and continue working together in the interest of the party and the development of Ogun State.
