Abeokuta — A strong coalition of student leaders, activists, and stakeholders within the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun State axis, has thrown its weight behind Comrade Akinjentan Hammed Emmanuel in his bid for the Chairmanship of the Ogun Joint Campus Committee (JCC).
The endorsement took place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Nigeria Labour Congress Secretariat in Abeokuta, where stakeholders from various tertiary institutions across the state gathered in large numbers to declare their support.

Akinjentan, a postgraduate student of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, is widely known within student circles for his previous role as President of the institution’s Students’ Union.
