ABEOKUTA—Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has been remanded in a correctional facility in Ilaro.
He has been in custody since Thursday, April 24, 2025, due to a failure to appear for an assault case at the Magistrate Court in Ifo.
Portable has faced multiple legal issues, including cases related to assault and cyberbullying. As of now, his lawyers are working to secure his release through a bail bond, which was previously revoked by the Chief Magistrate due to his failure to comply with several court summons.
