The All Progressives Congress, APC Imeko Afon Local Government has inaugurated committee members that will steer the campaign of the Chairmanship candidate and Councilorship Candidates ahead of the Local Government Elections.
The event which took place in Imeko Afon saw eight different committees been inaugurated with party loyalists and stakeholders who can hold the baton for the local government placed at strategic positions.
Prominent politicians who are members of the committee are house of Representative member Representing Yewa North /Imeko Afon federal Constituency, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka , former house of Representative member from that Constituency Hon Kayode Oladele ,Hon. Jemili Akingbade, member ,Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Imeko – Afon ,Hon. Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon Wasiu Isiaka , past chairmen of the Local Government Alh. Yahyah Fadipe , Hon. Tajudeen Ayilara, Hon. Albert Asipa and Prince Tosin Adeluyi while Hon Salmon Adeleke, a former House of Assembly member is placed as the Director General of the Campaign committee and Alhaji Bello Gausu as the Deputy director General amongst others
Other members of the committee are Adedeji Fausatu Local Government women leader , Alhaji Bariyu Raheem , Mr Yinusa Jamiu Ajani, Comrade Nafiu Olawale Abimbola and Idowu Mathew Ayinla respectively.
Addressing members of the Committee, Director General of the Campaign Hon. Salmon Adeleke, appealed to everybody to join hands with the committee, while he also delivered the message of those that couldn’t join the inaugural meeting ,he affirmed the support for the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun with the unveiling of the agenda of the partys Chairmanship candidate which is interndem with agenda to build the together future of Prince Dapo Abiodun
Former Commissioner in Ogun State and a party leader, Dr. Dele ogunsiji appreciated the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun for the all inclusive politics played by him as he assured the Governor of their support from Imeko Afon all the time.
