The Minister of State for Environment, Hon Iziaq Kunle Salako, has been decorated a distinguished AGSOBA (DA), the highest award by the Abeokuta Grammar School Old Boys Association (AGSOBA).
The decoration done in Abeokuta by the Global President of the Association , Barr. Sunday Olurotimi Odutan in the presence of Chairman and Board of Trustees HRM AGSOBA Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, Osile of Oke Ona Egba
The honour, according to the organizers, was done on the minister to appreciate his contributions to uplifting the school and being a great ambassador of the school.
Hon Kunle Iziaq Salako, while responding to the honor done him said under PA F O Oridota as principal contributed immensely to shaping him positively and directing his trajectory in life
“ I appreciate my alma mater and AGSOBA for the honor.”
Abeokuta Grammar School was founded in 1908 and the Old Boys Association founded in 1921 with over 65,000 registered members across Nigeria and abroad.
Former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Suraj Ishola Adekunbi, Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Jamiu Akande Omoniyi,Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Sesan Fagbayi and Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Olaolu Olabimtan accompanied the minister to the venue.
