The Omoluabi Political Movement has congratulated Dapo Abiodun and the Ogun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Yemi Sanusi, alongside 35 other executive committee members, following their re-election to steer the party’s affairs for another four-year term.

The APC State Congress, held on Tuesday at the Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, was supervised by the Congress Committee Chairman, Chief Wale Ohu, in the presence of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Governor Abiodun, and other party stakeholders.

In a statement issued in Abeokuta by the Movement’s Media and Publicity Director, Oluseun Joshua, the Convener, Armstrong ’Tope Akintunde, described the outcome of the congress as a testament to the dedication, loyalty, and sustained service of the state executive members to the party.

Akintunde noted that the re-election reflected the achievements recorded under the leadership of Governor Abiodun and Chief Sanusi, adding that the party in Ogun State has remained united and focused under their guidance.

He stated that continued support for the leadership demonstrates confidence in their performance, emphasizing that effective service often earns renewed mandates in politics.

Also reacting to the outcome of the congress, the State Coordinator of the Movement, Hon. Olusegun Kaka, said the re-election of the executives was widely anticipated, citing what he described as the strengthening of the party’s structure and the influx of members from opposition parties into the APC in the state.

The Movement reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the party’s leadership and mobilising members ahead of future political engagements in Ogun State.
