Abeokuta, Ogun State — Popular media personality and comedian, Abiodun Oluwakayode, fondly known as Olusho-Agba, has announced the sponsors for the fourth edition of his annual live show, “Unscripted with Olusho-Agba,” slated for Saturday, November 30, 2025, at the prestigious Marquee of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta.
The highly anticipated event, themed “An Evening of Truth and Unscripted Realities,” has become one of Ogun State’s most consistent and evolving entertainment brands since its debut, drawing top entertainers, corporate organizations, and high-profile guests from across Nigeria.
Speaking during a press conference held on Tuesday at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat, Iwe-Iroyin, Abeokuta, Olusho-Agba expressed delight over the continued growth of the show, describing it as a dream steadily transforming into a global platform.
“It is turning into a global event,” he said. “From the very beginning, we started with the mindset that Unscripted would go global. We began at Richton Hotel, moved to Spices, then Continental Suites, and now we are staging the 4th edition at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library. It has truly been a journey of consistency and growth.”
He revealed that this year’s edition is enjoying strong corporate backing from IBD Foundation, Checkers Africa Limited, Oluwalogbon Electronics, and other partners who have joined to elevate the show’s standard.
Olusho-Agba specially appreciated Alhaji Ibrahim Egungbohun, founder of IBD Foundation, for his consistent support, and Mrs. Nasiru Ibukunoluwa of Checkers Africa Limited for the company’s contribution through its popular product lines — Checkers Custard, Checkers 3-in-1, Checkers Choco Tee, and Checkers Vanilla.
“We have enjoyed massive support from our headline sponsors this year, particularly the IBD Foundation and Checkers Africa Limited. Their partnership has been instrumental to making this edition a success,” he said.
Since inception, Unscripted with Olusho-Agba has featured some of Nigeria’s most celebrated comedians and Nollywood stars, including Dr. Ayo Ajewole (Woli Agba), Dr. Smile, and Baba Lariya, among others.
Beyond entertainment, Olusho-Agba said the platform also aims to inspire and advocate for youth development and safer communities.
“We plead with the government to do more for the younger generation by providing a secure and enabling environment. The more opportunities young people have, the more their potential will shine,” he emphasized.
In his goodwill message, the Secretary of the Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Bunmi Adigun, commended Olusho-Agba’s creativity and consistency, describing Unscripted as a platform that goes beyond comedy.
“I’ve followed this event for a while, and each edition comes with fresh and inspiring ideas. Unscripted with Olusho-Agba is not just a comedy show — it’s a platform that people look forward to every year. I wish the organizers, sponsors, and guests a safe and successful outing,” he said.
As preparations intensify for the November 30th event, expectations are high that the 2025 edition of Unscripted with Olusho-Agba will raise the bar once again in creativity, class, and entertainment excellence.
