In preparation for its’ mega empowerment slated for February 14th, 2025, the Lanre Mosaku Foundation (LAMM) has visited the the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Matemilola for royal blessing.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Coordinator, Comrade Adebare Ariyibi stated that the movement, though apolitical is poised to empower the less privileged in the society, especially of Owu extractions.
Ariyibi highlighted the achievements of the movement not limited to empowerment of widows, back to school packs to children, and skill acquisition.
He added that the group has engaged some indigenes of the state in skill acquisition, which according to him will graduate and be empowered at the official flag off in 2025.
“Right now, we have several indigenes at various skill acquisition centers. Our plans Is to empower them at the end of their training with tools so that they can be self reliance”, he said
The Olowu in his response, lauded the group, describing the gesture as an act of God’s service to humanity.
He added that his palace will always support every act of service, in tandem with the palace policies and activities.
He however prayed for the longevity of the group, while promising the partnership of the Owu palace for the success of the event.
