Ogun: Company Issues Apology to Ashimolowo Over Land Dispute

Arc-View Investment, an estate company has tendered an apology to popular clergyman, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, over a petition submitted to the Ogun state House of Assembly regarding a land dispute.

Recalled that the Ogun state House of Assembly had summoned the clergyman as well as the management of the company over the petition, with the aim of finding peaceful resolution to the matter.

The meeting resolved that the two firms needed to reach an amicable resolution on certain contractual differences generated in the course of their business dealings.

According to the Committee, the Assembly was only interested in the security of lives and properties of the citizenry and their peaceful co-existence, hence the need to intervene to prevent anything that could lead to breach of peace in any part of the State.

Meanwhile, in a press statement issued by Arc-View Investment, it stated that since the matter has been resolved amicably, it therefore regret any embarrassment the petition might have caused the clergyman.

“We hereby tenders an unreserved apology regarding statements previously made in a petition submitted to the Ogun State House of Assembly and published on a number of online news platforms by our management against the person of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo and his company on the issues concerning our purchase of land at the Bluestone Garden City Limited.

“Now that the issues have been resolved amicably, we regret and apologize for any embarrassments that the petition and publications have caused Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo and his business interests.

“We fully retract the statements and confirm that they should be disregarded henceforth”, the statement reads
