New Year: Ogun Political Leaders, Grassroots Supporters Gather in Ota, Renew Commitment to Tinubu, Abiodun

Political leaders, party faithful, and grassroots supporters from Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area and across Ogun State came together to usher in the New Year with prayers, thanksgiving, and renewed political commitment at a gathering hosted by Comrade Rotimi Rahmon, PhD., FICA.

The event, which drew a wide spectrum of stakeholders, was marked by expressions of gratitude and hope for a better Nigeria.

The highlight of the gathering was the presence of the traditional ruler, Oba Ibrahim Adesina, who offered prayers for divine guidance, protection, and blessings for the people, the communities, Ogun State, and the nation in the year ahead.

Among dignitaries in attendance were the Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Honourable Wasiu Lawal, accompanied by members of his cabinet, as well as notable political leaders including Chief Jide Ojuko, Honourable Kazeem Salako, Engr. Saheed Alagbe, Honourable Jamiu Yakubu, High Chief Oladele Adeniji, Comrade Kelani Kamal (Wazeeri Musulumi of Ota Awori Land), Chief Ezekiel Bamisaye (Aro of Ota, Awori Land), and Honourable Akeem Oladejo (Alamikanle of Amikanle), among other distinguished guests.

In his remarks, Comrade Rahmon urged party members and loyalists to remain steadfast in their support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, expressing confidence in their shared vision for peace, security, and sustainable economic growth.

He called on citizens to remain law-abiding and committed to unity and collective progress as the year 2026 unfolds, while thanking attendees for their solidarity and support throughout the celebration.
