Alhaji Mutiu Alani Adedimeji Oyede-Lawal from the Faningbe/Igbaka Ruling house, is the new Oloola of Ilara in the Imeko Afon Local Government area of Ogun State, after 4 years of endured rivalry among princes from the ruling house.
This is coming after the passing of the late monarch, Oba Samuel Alabi Adeluyi, who joined his ancestors on March 20, 2020.
Untill his appointment, Alh. Lawal is the Deputy Registrar and also the Secretary of the Postgraduate Studies at Crescent University Abeokuta.
He’s a seasoned administrator and one among coordinators of several progressive community projects, and socio-cultural development.
Meanwhile, House of Representatives member for Yewa North Imeko Afon Federal Constituency has penned down a congratulatory message for the new Oloola as he receives his staff of office today Saturday 20th July, 2024.
The message reads thus “On behalf of my family and the people of Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency, I extend my warmest congratulations to Oba Mutiu Alani Adedimeji Oyede-Lawal on his installation as the new Oloola of Ilara Kingdom.”
