Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade has commiserated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

In a condolence message signed by his Media Consultant, Akinleye Olu-Philips, Hon. Akinlade described the late Mama Lydia as a woman of rare grace, humility, and unwavering devotion to God and humanity.

He noted that her quiet strength, generosity, and faith left an enduring legacy that touched many lives beyond her immediate family.

“ Mama Lydia was not only a mother to the APC Chairman but a motherly figure to all who encountered her. She nurtured values of love, service, and compassion that will continue to inspire generations,” he stated.

While acknowledging the deep grief that comes with her passing, Hon. Akinlade urged Professor Yilwatda and the entire Yilwatda family to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life, leaving indelible footprints of faith and community service.
