Governor Abiodun Offers Condolences to Triple A on Father’s Demise

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Major Mikail Akinlade, father of former governorship candidate for Allied Peoples Movement, APM and former Deputy Governorship Candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP at the last Gubernatorial Elections, Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade, popularly known as Triple A who sadly passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Major Akinlade, who was 77 years old, was laid to rest at his hometown in Agosasa, where family, friends, and supporters gathered to honor his memory.

Representing the governor, Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele described the loss as profound, asserting that while the death of a loved one is always difficult, the legacy left by Major Akinlade, particularly through his son Triple A, serves as a source of comfort.

She emphasized the importance of honoring the values instilled by the late Akinlade.

Engr. Salako-Oyedele also prayed for the repose of Major Akinlade’s soul and strength for the family during this challenging time.

Sheu Ibrahim Oyede, who gave the sermon at the funeral service, encouraged attendees to lead lives worthy of emulation, reflecting on the strong presence of community support that attended the last rites of Major Akinlade.

On behalf of the family, Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade, Triple A expressed gratitude to the Ogun State Government for their participation and support during the burial, wishing the governor success in all his endeavors.

Major Mikail Akinlade’s legacy continues through his children and grandchildren, as he is remembered for a life well-lived and a commitment to his community.
