As the Federal Government commences the road expansion works on the Ota-Idiroko Expressway, Honourable Tunji Akinosi, the member representing Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, has expressed his gratitude and praised the good people of his constituency for their sacrifice and support for the road expansion project.
Honourable Akinosi, an Engineer of repute and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, has been at the forefront of advocating for the Ota-Idiroko Road expansion. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
“We acknowledge that this expansion may bring temporary discomfort to our community,” he stated. “However, this is a necessary sacrifice for the long-term benefits that this project will bring.” He noted that when the expansion is completed, it will significantly improve transportation and stimulate economic growth within the Federal Constituency.
While acknowledging the support provided by the State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun (CON), Hon. Akinosi emphasized that as the people’s representative in Abuja, he will continue to collaborate with the State Government to ensure that the Contractor receives all the necessary support for the speedy completion of the road expansion. He further highlighted the importance of creating a conducive environment for the Contractor to facilitate the timely completion of the road expansion project.
“The State and Federal Government are committed to implementing policies that positively impact the lives of the good people of Ogun State and as your representative in Abuja, I am dedicated to securing all necessary support for the successful completion of this project.” Hon. Akinosi declared.
