Olanrewaju Sheu Adebayo (OlaSheu) felicitates with Muslims across Nigeria on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir asking everyone to come together to celebrate unity, sacrifice, and the blessings bestowed upon us.

The statement reads, “Eid-Al-Adha holds significant importance as it commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command”.
“It also symbolizes the virtue of selflessness as seen in the act of sacrificing an animal and distributing its meat among family, friends, and those less fortunate”.
“During this auspicious festival, let us reflect upon the values of compassion, unity, generosity, tenets and principles which gave birth to this festival”.
Olasheu prayed the festive reinforce the bonds of love and friendship that is shared and bring people from diverse backgrounds closer together.
“Moreover, let us be reminded of the importance of sacrifice in our lives. It is not merely about offering an animal, but about sacrificing our ego, self-interest, and personal desires for the greater society”.
“Let us strive to be more empathetic, understanding, and open-minded towards others, regardless of our differences”.
“As we join together with family and friends, let our celebration be filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful conversations”.
