The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has approved the appointment of 16 New Permanent Secretaries into the Taraba State Civil Service.
Among the appointees, is a one time State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Comrade David Nya.
This development is contained in a Press Release signed by the Taraba State Head of Civil Service, Mr Paul Maigida Tino in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital.
Comrade David Nya hails from Zing Local Government Area of the state who was until his recent appointment, the General Manager of the Taraba State Broadcasting Service, TSBS.
The new Permanent Secretaries also includes the former Director of Budget, Danjuma I. Saigudu from Bali Local Government Area, Mr Filibus Daniel Adamu, Director of Health Education from Donga Local Government Area, Anita Y. Zaku, Director of Administration, office of the Head of Civil Service from Ibi Local Government Area and Hadizah Bello Yero, Director Architecture, Ministry of Works from Jalingo Local Government Area.
Others include Kabiru Waziri, office of the Head of Civil Service also from Jalingo, Abdulmumuni Shitu, Director of Legal Services, Ministry of Justice and Sir Gawi D. Dugule, Deputy Accountant General from Karim Lamido Local Government Area and Bui Zabura Hassan, Director of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education from Kurmi Local Government Area.
Also appointed are Musa T. Gwadi, Director of Administration, office of the Head of Civil Service from Lau, Dr Chafore K. Harmony, Chief Medical Officer, Specialist Hospital and Eric Mado Juyoh from Sardauna Local Government Area and Ayuba Bako Burba, Director of Finance, Accountant General’s Office from Ussa Local Government Area.
The list also includes Constantine Joel, Director of Finance, Accountant General’s Office from Yorro Local Government Area, Sarah S. D. Ali, Director in the Ministry of Education from Wukari Local Government Area and Abishag Dan- Habu, Director of Administration, office of the Head of Civil Service from Takum Local Government Area.
The Press Release stressed that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries will be sworn in at a date to be announced soon.
