Ijebu Ode – The Convener of the Omoluabi Political Movement in Ogun State, Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Muslim Ummah worldwide as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released from the state capital, the prominent political mobilizer described the festival as a “season of spiritual breakthrough,” urging the faithful to translate the discipline of the 30-day fast into sustained patriotism.
Akintunde emphasized that Nigeria’s current journey toward stability requires a blend of pragmatic leadership and spiritual support. He specifically called on citizens to uphold President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other national leaders in their prayers.
“Our nation stands at a crossroads where prayer, support, and unity are non-negotiable—both from Nigerians at home and those in the diaspora,” Akintunde stated. “I appeal to every citizen during this joyous celebration to remember that the peace and unity of Nigeria must remain our paramount objective.”
Looking ahead to the country’s political trajectory, Akintunde linked the lessons of Ramadan—sacrifice and devotion—to the collective effort needed for the 2027 general elections.
