ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to host a high-stakes, extended stakeholders’ strategic meeting this coming Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The meeting, which is expected to shape the political landscape of the Gateway State, was announced in a statement released on Saturday by the State Party Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi.

The session, strictly by invitation, will take place at the iconic June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta. It will be presided over by the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and is expected to serve as a “who’s who” of Ogun politics. Among those slated to attend are Federal Ministers from the state, members of the National Assembly, and key party stalwarts.

According to the party leadership, the primary objective of this gathering is to reinforce internal cohesion. As political dynamics in the state evolve, the meeting will focus on:

• Strengthening Party Unity: Ensuring all wings of the party are aligned.

• Strategic Review: Evaluating current political maneuvers and government impact.

• Future Positioning: Laying the groundwork for upcoming political engagements and ensuring the APC maintains its dominant position in the state.

As political observers keep a close watch on the June 12 Cultural Centre this Wednesday, the outcome of this meeting is expected to set the tone for the party’s direction in the coming months.

With Governor Abiodun at the helm, the APC appears to be tightening its ranks and sharpening its strategy to ensure that the “Gateway State” remains a stronghold of the ruling party.
