The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ogun State has secured a groundbreaking partnership with SANY Group, a global giant in the heavy machinery industry, to provide specialized training opportunities for Corps Member engineers. The development comes on the heels of an advocacy visit by the State Coordinator, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, to the company’s office.
During the visit, Mrs. Nasamu commended SANY Group for its robust welfare package for Corps Members, highlighting that the firm not only offers attractive monthly stipends but also integrates them fully into its workforce. She further invited the company’s Director, Mr. David Lee, to attend the upcoming Orientation Camp and witness firsthand the transformation process Corps Members undergo.
In response, Mr. Lee announced that the collaboration would commence with a Graduate Trainee Programme for ten Corps Member engineers, who will undergo a one-year intensive training designed to meet world-class industry standards. Outstanding participants stand the chance of being deployed to SANY Group’s branches across Africa and beyond. Elated by the partnership, Mrs. Nasamu described it as a model for youth empowerment and reaffirmed NYSC’s commitment to grooming disciplined and resourceful graduates.
