Supporters thronged the rally in their thousands to express confidence in the party’s candidate, Princess Sola Elegbeji, described by party leaders as a woman of courage, competence, and vision.

Party officials said the election represents more than a political contest, calling it a pivotal moment for inclusion and empowerment. By backing Princess Elegbeji, the APC leadership reiterated its commitment to increasing women’s representation in the National Assembly and ensuring that leadership reflects the diversity and resilience of Nigerians.

The rally was attended by prominent APC figures, including National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, National Secretary Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, and former Ogun State Governor Chief Segun Osoba. APC leaders also expressed appreciation to stakeholders, youth groups, women’s associations, and community leaders from Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North for their dedication to the party’s vision. They urged unity and active participation in the days leading to the election.

With the campaign now in full swing, the APC expressed confidence that Princess Elegbeji would secure victory and deliver purposeful, inclusive representation for the constituency.
