A fully loaded Dangote Cement Plc truck has swerved into a house in Imasayi in Yewa North local government area of Ogun state.
The occupants of the house, who were asleep in the parlour escaped being crushed by whisker.
The incident which occurred just few meters from the Olu of Imasayi former residence occurred in the night, when residents were sleeping.
Speaking on the tragedy, the Olu of Imasayi, Oba Lukman Kuoye thanked God that no live was lost in the incident, adding that effort are underway to investigate the root cause of the accident.
He however called for calm, saying that residents should not take laws into their hands.
“A Fully loaded Dangote Cement Plc truck swerved into a house in Imasayi yesterday night, God saved the people that slept in the sitting room
” The people inside the room escaped untimely death
” It happened in front of the house where I was living before moving into my new house
” This is one the things we are facing with Dangote drivers”, he said
