2027: Oyeleye to Declare House of Reps Bid in Ogun Constituency

Hon. Bolaji Oyeleye has announced plans to formally declare his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.

The declaration, according to a statement released by the aspirant, will take place on April 10, 2026, at his ward in Ibese, as part of a homecoming event aimed at reconnecting with grassroots supporters and stakeholders across the constituency.

Oyeleye said the move underscores his “deep sense of responsibility and unwavering commitment” to the development of the constituency, adding that his ambition is driven by a desire to provide purposeful and inclusive representation.

He noted that his vision for the constituency centres on sustainable development, youth empowerment, economic growth, and improved welfare for residents, promising to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability if elected.

The aspirant called on party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members of the public to attend the event scheduled for 4 p.m. at Sopoto/Isale Idiho Unit, Igbogila, describing it as a defining moment in the collective quest for progress in Yewa North/Imeko-Afon.
